Curt Nickisch covers Business & Technology at Boston’s NPR news station, WBUR.  His work can also be heard on national programs including Morning Edition and All Things Considered from National Public Radio and on Marketplace.  Some of his favorite topics are green energy, corporate strategy, personal finance, and entrepreneurship.

Before moving to Boston, Curt reported for South Dakota Public Radio in Sioux Falls, where he covered agriculture, American Indian issues, politics, and business.   Prior, he studied and worked overseas, eventually reporting for Germany’s international broadcaster Deutsche Welle.   He got his start in public radio by interning at KUER in Salt Lake City.

Curt earned an M.B.A. at Boston University, holds an M.S. in Journalism and Mass Communication from South Dakota State University, and graduated with an Honors B.A. from the University of Utah.
